Employment Opportunities

Thank you for your interest in joining The N.U.in Program Team! Here you will find information regarding employment opportunities both abroad and in our Boston office:

Site Staff Positions

The N.U.in Program is committed to maintaining an academically challenging, healthy and safe environment for all students. As part of this commitment, Northeastern provides staff members at each location who accompany and provide on-site support to students, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The N.U.in team and our partner institutions understand that first-year students have different needs than students further along in their college career, and are fully committed to supporting them.

Our team of superior site staff is critical to the success of The N.U.in Program. Site staff are dedicated to supporting our students to have meaningful and exceptional academic and cross-cultural experiences. These highly demanding positions require a significant amount of patience, flexibility, assertiveness, diplomacy, self-initiative, as well as substantial experience living abroad and working under challenging conditions. Our site staff embody the mission and values of The N.U.in Program and Northeastern University and work/live in close proximity to around 50-200 first-year students and work non-traditional hours to ensure the safety and wellbeing of students.

Site staff are highly qualified, carefully selected, individuals who live abroad with students selected to participate in The N.U.in Program. Site staff serve as the professional on-site resource to students at one of our N.U.in international partner institutions. The N.U.in on-staff roles are to support the physical, emotional, social, and academic needs of first-year students. These staff members, in addition to support staff at the host institution, focus on creating positive and valuable learning experiences for students in their academic coursework, and student residences. N.U.in staff members interact with students daily and focus on creating an environment that promotes student success.
