As an Ireland student, you will live in the Belgrove Student Residence Hall, which also houses Irish and other international students. Belgrove is within walking distance of University College Dublin’s campus, with easy access to Dublin’s city-center via public transportation. You will receive your roommate assignments once you arrive in Dublin. We are unable to accommodate roommate requests.

The services available to you at UCD, along with amenities such as sports facilities, a grocery store, and pharmacy, make Belfield an excellent place to live and study. Cafes and shops are just a 15-minute walk away. 

The Belgrove student residence includes: 

  • Single rooms in a shared flat (apartment) 
  • A single bed, desk, chair, and wardrobe in every bedroom 
  • A duvet and pillow for each student 
  • One bathroom per two single rooms 
  • Kitchens with refrigerators/freezers, stoves, and microwaves  
  • Common dining and lounge area with tables and dining areas 
  • Laundry facilities – students have access to both washers and dryers located within the student residence for a per-load fee

    Printers are available in several buildings at UCD
