N.U.in Greece students reside in the Metropolitan, Capsis, or Le Palace Hotels. The Metropolitan hotel is located on the south side of the city and is a short walk to the Thessaloniki waterfront. The Capsis Hotel is on the northwest side of the city, very close to one of the new metro stations. Le Palace is located in the center of the city, near Aristotelous Square and close to the boardwalk.

The American College of Thessaloniki provides daily private chartered buses to transport N.U.in Greece students to and from campus on weekdays. The bus drive from each hotel to ACT’s campus is about 20 to 30 minutes. The ACT bus schedule will be shared with students during the on-site orientation.

Amenities: Each room is shared by two students, and is equipped with standard furnishings as well as a private bathroom with a shower. Bed linens, comforters, pillows, towels, hair dryer, television, small refrigerator, air conditioning/heating, and wireless internet are provided. Daily cleaning services are provided for bathroom spaces, though students are expected to clean their own rooms.

Common Areas: The hotel residences have study areas available for use by residents.

Meals: Students will receive breakfast and dinner daily in the hotel dining room. If a student has any dietary restrictions, N.U.in staff will work with the student and the hotel to ensure those needs are communicated and met. Local options to purchase lunch include a cafe at the ACT campus and local eateries around Thessaloniki.

Laundry: Students do not have access to laundry machines in the hotels to do their own laundry. Laundry service (wash, dry, and fold) is available for a fee at a nearby laundromat. Limited services may also be available at the hotel for an additional fee.

Mail: Students can have mail sent directly to their assigned hotel. Students will receive the hotel address and instructions on how to label mail during on-site orientation. Hotels will hold mail at reception for students to pick up at their convenience. If larger packages cannot be delivered to the hotel, students will need to collect them from a mail office nearby after receiving a notice in the mail.

Fitness: The ACT campus has two gyms that students can access. One is a small gym in West Hall, and the other is up the hill on the main Anatolia campus. Students will learn more about how to access those facilities during the orientation. In the city of Thessaloniki, students can also find various fitness options including gyms, weight training facilities, pilates classes, yoga studios, and more.
