It offers a variety of degree programs including undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral degrees. The university is known for its excellence in social sciences, humanities, and engineering. N.U.in Scotland students will have the opportunity to experience a range of teaching methods, including but not limited to lectures, tutorials, seminars, practicals, laboratories, and field trips. Classes at the University of Glasgow are primarily taught in English and class sizes can vary significantly depending on the course and level. Generally, larger lecture classes are complemented by smaller tutorials and seminar groups, which facilitate personalized attention and active participation.

Class Schedule: Information on course offerings will be made available in April 2025. You will receive your finalized class schedule when you arrive in Scotland during student orientation.
Textbooks: We recommend waiting until you are on-site to purchase any textbooks, so that you can review requirements as listed in your course syllabi. If you need a calculator, double-check the specifications with your course instructor so you select the correct model. Calculators can be purchased in the on-campus bookshop.
