As an N.U.in Spain student, you will reside in one of three off-campus student residences: El Faro, Emilia Pardo Bazan, and Galdos. The rooms are double occupancy with shared ensuite bathrooms and a kitchenette. All residences are situated where the University campus merges with the center of Madrid and a 15-minute walk to the SLU campus. Each residence has a cafeteria, study rooms, common areas, laundry facilities, and a fitness center. Each residence is staffed with 24/7 security.
Amenities: Bed Linens including a fitted sheet, flat sheet, duvet-blanket, pillow, towel are included. Each residence has wi-fi included. Each student will have a bed, desk, chair, and closet. The dining hall in each building is part of the student meal plan.
Common Areas: Each residence hall has quiet study areas for individuals and groups available for use 24/7. There are also indoor and outdoor social spaces and lounges in each building.
Meals: Meals are provided daily in the residence halls, catering to most dietary restrictions. There are also on-campus and local options available, including nearby grocery stores.
Laundry: Laundry facilities including washers and dryers are located in the building for use. You can pay for laundry using money loaded onto the WashTur app.
Mail: Students can have mail and packages sent directly to their residence hall address. It is recommended to include “c/o [name of residence hall]” in the mailing address. Reception will accept the package and notify the student.
Fitness: Each residence has a fitness center in the building with tools for cardio and strength.
